Christian began to sing at age three, and throughout his childhood he learned to play various instruments. He began singing professionally in 1998 while attending Liberty University, as bass vocalist with The Sounds of Liberty, traveling to many churches and venues around the country.
Later that year Dr. Jerry Falwell, with Christian's persuasion, formed the Old Time Gospel Hour Quartet, which Christian began as the original bass singer. He has since sung with other quartets such as the Old Friends Quartet (while George Younce was ill), Christian Brothers Quartet and Mercy's Mark. In addition to his music career, Christian served as the Assistant Director of Recruiting for Southwestern Baptist Theological Seminary in Fort Worth,
Texas in 2006. Christian and his wife, Sophia, are the proud parents of Shelby, Richard and Anneliese.
B.J. CHERRYHOLMES
B.J. Cherryholmes
B.J. Cherryholmes began playing with his family at age 11. Due to a family tragedy in 1999, B.J., his brother, two sisters, and mom and dad started a family jam as a way to get closer as a family. Little did they know that this would spark and eventually skyrocket to a highly successful 12 year musical career as the internationally touring band " Cherryholmes ". B.J. would play an intricate part in the band's five Grammy nominations, composing both "Sumatra" and "Tattoo of A Smudge" that were nominees for Country Instrumental Performance of The Year. He also contributed to the winning
of one and the nomination of two IBMA Entertainers of the Year awards, and several other nominations for organizations like Dove, SPBGMA, and GMA.
Being with one of Bluegrass' and acoustic music's more successful bands in recent years, B.J. has become a proficient multi-instrumentalist and musical visionary. Having been an important part of not only the tracking, but also the producing of Cherryholmes' last two Skaggs Family Records releases,
He has continued to grow in both musical and technical understanding of the music industry.
In July of 2011, B.J. joined the Bluegrass super duo of Dailey and Vincent, where his debut was at the Ryman Auditorium for Bluegrass Nights At The Ryman. Since then, he has been a full-time member of the group, touring actively across the U.S., as well as around the world, including appearances with the group on the Grand Old Opry and other high profile venues and tv shows. Performing with this group has contributed to his overall musical growth, and continues to present him with more opportunities to sharpen and display his skills.
